It’s definitely been a difficult week, that’s for sure. But I believe that sometimes, the hardest weeks can teach us the biggest lessons. In the moment, we may not always realise it, but those difficult experiences can help us grow, learn, and become stronger.
As we approach the last official week of the summer holidays, we begin to slowly return to our normal routines again. While I’ll definitely miss the freedom of summer, I have to admit there is one thing I’m looking forward to: jumper season is coming back!
So, as we enter this final week of summer and prepare for the next chapter, let’s make the most of it.
Without further ado, let’s get started!

The Gift Of Life, Family and Friends
This week has taught me one thing for sure: life is precious.
As human beings, we don't always realise just how special and unique we are. Every person has their own experiences, personality, talents, perspectives, and qualities that make them different from everyone else.
We all have something to contribute to the world, whether that is through the people we support, the kindness we show, the work we do, or simply the impact we have on those around us.
Saying this also brings a sense of acknowledgement that we don't always recognise the impact we can have on the people and world around us.
Sometimes, we may think that the things we do are small or insignificant, but even the smallest actions can leave a lasting impression on someone else. This impact can certainly be long-lasting.
So why should we waste our time fighting among ourselves when life is already so precious?
We may have different opinions, backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of living, but that doesn't mean we need to constantly be against one another. Life is too short to spend it holding onto unnecessary arguments, anger, and conflict.
Finally, we need to address the people who are often closest to us: our family and friends.
These are the people who can have some of the biggest impacts on our lives, whether they are there to celebrate our successes, support us through difficult moments, or simply make everyday life a little brighter. Their presence showcases the beauty of life and collaboration, reminding us that we do not always have to face everything alone.

Around the World: Dubai and Its Relaxing Elements
We save my favourite holiday for the last week of summer, which is my top destination for resting and relaxing. And oh boy, have I done a lot of fun things here.
Now, Dubai is known for its incredible architecture, luxury, and reputation as one of the gems of the Middle East. But for me, it is much more than just a place filled with impressive buildings and beautiful scenery; it has become one of my go-to destinations for unwinding.
There is something incredibly relaxing about simply sitting on the beach, enjoying a cold drink, and allowing myself to switch off from the busyness of everyday life. Sometimes, you don't need an exciting adventure or a packed itinerary. Just having the opportunity to sit back, rest, and enjoy your surroundings can make you feel completely refreshed.
For me, Dubai has provided that opportunity to recharge, reset, and retrain myself before getting back into the routines of everyday life.
Also, the food is an absolute dream.
One of the more challenging things about travelling is finding food that meets my dietary requirements. I have to be quite careful about what I eat, and in some of the places I have visited, finding suitable food can sometimes feel like a mission in itself.
However, Dubai was a completely different experience. There was such an incredible variety of food available, and I was amazed by just how many options there were to choose from. Not only could I find plenty of food that suited my requirements, but I could also experience cuisines from all around the world.
From traditional Middle Eastern dishes to food inspired by different countries and cultures, there was always something new to discover. For someone who enjoys trying different foods, this made Dubai even more enjoyable!
Finally, if you are looking for a fun, food-filled, and relaxing holiday, I would definitely recommend a trip to Dubai.
Whether you want to spend your days exploring the incredible architecture, relaxing on the beach, trying food from around the world, or simply taking some time to recharge, Dubai offers a little bit of everything.

The Food Diaries: Trying Different Foods
This is one of the fun parts of life that so many of us experience every day, which is trying different foods!
I don't think we will ever truly know just how many different foods exist around the world, and honestly, isn't that amazing? There are so many different flavours, ingredients, colours, and textures for us to discover.
Food can be something as simple as trying a new fruit or as adventurous as experiencing a completely unfamiliar cuisine from another country. Every new food allows us to experience something different and perhaps even discover a new favourite.
Personally, my favourite foods include fruit, chicken, and, of course, sweet treats! However, there are also plenty of foods that I really don't enjoy, such as eggs, sweetcorn, and many others.
But isn't that what makes us so interesting as human beings? We all have different tastes, preferences, and opinions. Two people can eat the same food and have completely different reactions to it. One person might absolutely love it, while another might wonder how anyone could enjoy it.
It just goes to show that food is such a personal experience. We don't all have to like the same things, and that's perfectly okay. In fact, our differences in taste are just another little thing that makes each of us unique.
One of the most interesting parts of food is that many of our choices and preferences can be influenced by the country and culture we grow up in.
For instance, here in the UK, one of our most loved national dishes is the classic fish and chips. It is a simple meal, but it has become such an iconic part of British food culture.
However, travel to another country and you may discover completely different foods, flavours, ingredients, and traditions. What feels completely normal to us may be completely unfamiliar to someone else.
I think this is another reason why food is so fascinating. It doesn't just fill our stomachs; it can tell us a story about where we come from. Coming from a different culture myself introduced me to a different palette and really got me thinking about food in different ways.

Weekly Funny Moment Of The Week: The Missing Earplug
So, one of the biggest issues I have when trying to fall asleep is noise. I am extremely sensitive to even the smallest sounds, which means something as simple as a gentle breeze can wake me up. Because of this, I have invested in a good pair of earplugs to help me get a good night's sleep.
I usually put them in before going to bed and take them out when I wake up. However, one morning, I woke up, took out my earplugs, and put them safely back in their case. Well, almost.
I soon realised that only one earplug was in my ear.
So, naturally, I started searching everywhere. I checked my blankets, looked around my bed, and even searched areas where I thought it could have possibly ended up. Fifteen minutes had passed, and there was still absolutely no sign of it.
At this point, I decided that breakfast was more important, so I gave up the search for a little while and went to eat.
After breakfast, I returned to my investigation, determined to find this missing earplug. And eventually, I found it.
It had somehow managed to cling to one of my blankets the entire time.
Honestly, I spent all that time searching for something that was practically hiding in plain sight. I think my earplug deserves an award for the greatest disappearing act of the week.

Aisha's Tiny But Mighty Weekly Advice Section: Pushing Yourself Towards Success
A key part of success as a human being is working hard. To achieve the things we want in life, we often have to push ourselves, step outside our comfort zones, and keep going even when things become difficult.
Success does not always happen overnight. It can take determination, patience, and a willingness to keep trying when things do not go according to plan. Sometimes, we have to challenge ourselves and put in the effort before we can see the results.
As they say, it is a dog-eat-dog world, and life can sometimes feel competitive.
However, I believe that working hard should not mean stepping over other people to get ahead. It should mean pushing yourself to become the best version of yourself while still supporting and respecting those around you.
Pushing yourself does not mean pushing yourself to the point of burnout. It means working towards becoming the best version of yourself while recognising your own limits.
Burnout can actually make it harder to achieve your goals because constantly exhausting yourself can affect your motivation, concentration, and ability to keep going. Sometimes, taking a step back, resting, and giving yourself time to recharge is exactly what you need to continue moving forward.
Taking the time to understand yourself and simply taking a deep breath can be just as important as pushing yourself forward. Knowing your own limits, recognising when you need to pause, and understanding what works best for you can make a huge difference when working towards your goals.
Sometimes, we can become so focused on achieving success that we feel the need to rush the process. However, rushing can create unnecessary pressure and make things more difficult in the long run.
The final part of pushing yourself towards success is remembering to feel good about what you achieve and celebrate even the smallest successes.
We can become so focused on reaching the biggest goals that we forget to appreciate the progress we make along the way. But every small achievement is still an achievement, and recognising those moments can give us the motivation to keep moving forward.
